Together you have braved the dark haunted cemetery of Pinners' Hollow ... and found the most shiny dragon of all... Well, not exactly a dragon, but as you peer at the detailed sculpture of the lantern you uncovered, you cant help but feel like it's staring back at you.


As you light the flame within the weathered relic you cast long shadows along the graveyard. The wind is picking up, rustling the leaves and creating eerie shadows in your flickering lantern light. 

As you turn, you notice a pair of eyes blinking up at you, mesmerized by the light. Which dragon did you find today?

I love seeing which dragons you vote for! Did your favourite one win? If not, don't fear, we won't leave a stone uncovered or an unmarked tomb unexplored. As we travel through the spooky month, I decided to spin a tale of adventure as we unlock each design. And I might be having too much fun. But that's what these campaigns are about. Having fun exploring new adventures with my fellow weirdings. 

Fun fact about the lantern dragon pin, it was originally a sketch for an art prompt ... I think, at least a mashup of a prompt in 2022. Earlier this year I finished the illustration for my Gilded Dragons art book. And now it has come full circle to be a pin!

I'm super excited about this one. It will not only be 3D, but it will be the first time I get stained glass. I can't wait to see it in person!

Greetings Hoarders,

The adventure continues as we venture deeper into the cemetery 🪦 to reveal the dragons hidden within.

You have scowered the deepest shadows and found the shy-est of all, the reclusive shadow derpy dragon!



I'm not sure if he was hiding in the shadows because he likes it...or because there is something scarier than him between the mausoleums and graves waiting to be found.

And I just got back the proof for the Grim Reaper, which I'm finally happy with after having to tweak the colours.

He promised to watch over the shadow derpy...and you...as you venture forth on your quest to reveal more dragons.



Speaking of proofs, some of you have wondered about the adult dragon skull which was in my original banner below when I first decided to do another campaign.


I'm in the process of working with my manufacturer to get the design right.

Asof right now, I have yet to be happy with any of the results. So until I am 💯 happy that I love it, he will be delayed.

I am still hopeful we can get to a good design by the end of the campaign, hopefully sooner. And I know once we have it right you will love him.

But I wanted let those who asked know what was going on. Once he is ready, I'll add him to the polls for votes.

Speaking of adding more dragons... You guys have officially unlocked the 9th dragon design! 🎆🎇



At this rate I will have no choice but to start drawing more dragons this coming week! (Not that I'm complaining...) You have all made such amazing suggestions so far! 

From ghouls to vampires, trick-or-treating dressed up derpies to hexing witches. Spells flying, tomes tumbling, there's so many ideas in my head. I just need to sort through this jumble, and once we have unlocked and voted for all the others you will get a chance to help me do just that. 

In the meantime, keep those ideas and suggestions coming! I love reading your responses and comments! And while you are here, I would love to know what your favourite 🍁 🍂 Fall / Autumn 🍁 🍂 tradition is? 

I love everything about 🍁🍂Fall / Autumn 🍂🍁. Soups, scarves, falling leaves, mushrooms, spiced wine, snuggling with a good book in the rain, and of course 💀☠️ Halloween 🎃. 

Here's some mushrooms I found on my walk this morning 🍄. Fall is truly magical! Maybe next year I'll do a mushroom 🍄 derpy dragons campaign.

Happy Wednesday! I'm so glad you are here on this quest through the haunted cemetery 🪦 of Pinners Hollow. Each day we travel between crypts and mausoleums to discover and meet new dragons. And so far you have come across 8 of them!

Yup, you unlocked another derpy dragon!


The results for your first encounter is in. And boy, you guys dove right into the darkest part of the haunted cemetery and revealed the king of the haunt himself, the Grim Reaper Derpy Dragon!

Did you guys step into a trap? 🤔 Not that I'm complaining. I quite like this little guy. There's something endearing about him.☠️💀

I love watching the polls to see what you guys vote on. And I love reading your suggestions and comments.

In fact, this morning I received an email from a backer with a list of excellent suggestions for bookish haunted dragons! And I thought I would share it with you here: (that way I can find it later)

I can already imagine several of these as Derpies. 

Did you know that my first Derpy Dragon campaign was inspired by a Gilded Dragons backer who emailed me and suggested that they could see my art with the quote "In a world of unicorns, be a dragon?" 

One quote led to another and my Muse jumped on the procrastination inspiration train.
Now there are 11 Derpies (and a successful side quest) with my favourite quotes thanks to that email.

Don't be shy if you have ideas, share them with me! You never know what will happen!

In fact, I would love to know what your favourite Halloween monster is. (For research inspiration, of course)

Do you decorate for the season? We do, and my favourite decorations are dragon skeletons and well any skeletons tbh💀🐉😂. (Big surprise there...one day I would love a 12ft skeleton). 

Anyway, I can't wait to see which Haunted Dragon you encounter in today's poll adventure through the Haunted Cemetery 🐉🪦.
